International Versions

Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog was translated into other languages throughout it's history. Here's how the other nations delt with the show.

Portugal

Here's what the person who scanned these for me, said about the show there:

Every cover and front of the Sonic Portuguese DVDs I have. They're very hard to find, I spent half a year looking for the fourth one, but I've secured another one, which is going to come through mail in the next month. Every DVD has the three episodes, following the list of English episodes (DVD1 has 1-3, DVD2 has 4-6), etc etc. There might be none left distributed, since I've only seen 1-4 and now 5, never anything beyond it.

I have no title screen or credits screen, because they don't exist. Everything that is written in the original, stays written and is only voiced over in Portuguese. The title screen is the same, with Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, but it's voiced as "As aventuras do Sonic" which is literal translation. "Sonic says" appears like this aswell and is called "Dicas do Sonic", which is "Sonic hints or Sonic tips" translated.

From what I can listen, from the pilot to the series, every voice changes but Robotnik's but who the actors are is a mystery, as I've said before they're not credited. I've tried to search on the web on some of our sites and there's nothing either. I'll contact the distributors to see if they know though.
